The Communications Department handles all press inquiries for the Wales International Film.

We offer a number of services to media, including access to the red carpet screenings, access to events throughout the Festival, arranging interviews with filmmakers, guests and WalesIFF’s executive team.

Media accreditation for the sixth Wales International Film Festival, opens on the 1st May, 2023.

ACCREDITED MEDIA

As an accredited member of the media, you can attend the following events at WalesIFF:

    • Press Conferences
    • Press Screenings
    • Select Industry Office Events
    • Viewing Library
    • Internet Lounge
    • WalesIFF Press and Publicity Office

You will have access to four complimentary regular screening and gala screenings passes a day that you will have access to obtain through your badge – please note you can only have one ticket per screening.
Separate invitations are required to attend the Opening and Awards Gala screening parties.

Interviews with film crew members, jury members and festival guests will be held at the Gwyn Hall, Neath. Please refrain from shooting at unauthorised venues. You can book appointments to use the interview room through the WalesIFF Press and Publicity Office.

Photo-calls will be held within the photo-call area located at designated areas within the WalesIFF Headquarters.
